The Suite-B Data-At-Rest IP Core has been certified by NIST within the framework of the Cryptographic Algorithm Validation Program (CAVP) and is used to secure media such as hard drives. It is an implementation of the Rijndael algorithm as specified by NIST FIPS 197. It is configured in the XOR-encrypt-XOR Tweaked-codebook mode with ciphertext Stealing (XTS) mode in accordance with the NIST SP800-38E standards. U.S. export restrictions apply
